Expectations and Response to chpt. 1 SAW

I expect the chapter 1 reading to tell me how to write summaries, how to use qotations, how to paraphrase correctly. I suspect that the definitions of summary, quotation, and paraphrase are similar but I hope that the examples will further my knowledge of these writing tools and help me use them in the future. The chapter covered what I expected it to but it went into much more depth than I thought it would, which was nice. The information I found that was most useful to me was how to summarize tables and graphs. Summarizing can be difficult, especially something like a graph. The information I gathered will definitely help me.
